THE NEWFOUNDLAND QUARTERLY :: EDITORIAL POLICY
![]() |
The Newfoundland Quarterly is committed to publishing
high quality features, interviews, columns and reviews about
Newfoundland and Labrador culture, arts and heritage. Each issue
has a theme – medical history, domestic service, aviation – but
we are open to receiving ideas and queries on any topic relevant
to our core editorial purpose. Articles can vary widely in word
length, from 500 to over 5000. We publish four times a year, in
April, June, September and December, with strict, set copy
deadlines. We follow the guidelines of The Canadian Style
in terms of spelling, grammar, proper names and revisions.
Editing is conducted in consultation with the writers and the
Managing Editor reserves the right of final sign-off. The
Quarterly pays a writers’ honorarium. For more information please contact the Managing Editor. |
